The junior varsity cheerleaders cheered for the whole game and a pep band, comprised of students, played different songs to pump up the students along with the teachers. During half time, the Baldwinsville Drumline and color guard preformed their show, A Trip to the Emergency Room, which was ironic because guidance councilor, Mr. Marciniak, fell hard and left the game with an apparent knee injury during the first half.
"The game was a great way to raise money," said ninth grader Danny Wright. "But it was also a great way to be able to hang out with all my friends and watch the teachers attempt to play the game."
The game raised over $5,000.
The show is going on the road next year. The Durgee teachers are trying to get teachers from the high school to play, making it Durgee vs. Baker.
