Lebanon issues travel advisory

Heavy rains, sleet, slush and snow have made for hazardous conditions on some Lebanon roads, according to Lebanon Supervisor James Goldstein.

There is flooding on parts of River Road and South Lebanon Road, and obviously, any travel during the next 24 to 48 hours is to be done with caution, given the heavy wintery mix and the thawing that is taking place.

Goldstein asking those experience flood situations to call 9-1-1 to have communications notify the highway departments.

Our highway department number is 837-4838, Goldstein said. Be careful out there and do not travel unless absolutely necessary.
