F-M voters say no to turf field

It was a record high turnout yesterday when voters came out in droves to cast their ballot on a $4.6 million proposal for a new sports stadium and turf field at Fayetteville-Manlius High School. The project was rejected.

If the project was voted through, tax payers would have seen an increase of $5.30 for every $100,000 assessed valuation for the next 15 years.
