The morning flights on Saturday during the annual Jamesville Balloon Fest were filled with enthusiasts heading up, up and away! For many, it was their very first time, making their dreams a reality.
Sue Cucinotta of Reading, Pa. looked nervous but determined as her crew lifted off the ground into the sky. Her husband Gary stayed behind to watch and said this is one of her many items on their new "bucket list" of things to do before they die.
"She's always wanted to do this," he said.
Bonita Bontrager of Montana just graduated from college and got the ride as a gift.
"I'm a little nervous but really excited," she said. Her Uncle Dan Webb of Jamesville soared with her.
Friends Spence Baker and George Inch, both of Liverpool, also signed on for some fun.
"We sail together, we're sailing partners," Baker said. "This is a new experience for us."
