Colgate seeks Cheer Team coach

Colgate University seeks applicants for the position of Head Cheer Coach. This position will be directly responsible for the entire management and administration of all phases of the Colgate University cheerleading team and mascot program.

Responsibilities include teaching, training, and evaluating proper cheerleading techniques; scheduling and conducting regular practice sessions; choreographing and scripting game stunts and entertainment performances at games and special events; and overseeing and scheduling team travel, budget, performance schedules and equipment inventory.

Weekend commitments and some travel are required. This is an eight month position that runs from the months of August through April. A minimum of two years of cheerleading experience is required. Bachelor's Degree and current AACCA safety certification preferred.
