The barenaked truth on drug charges, details

Ford's account

According to a deposition filed by Ford to the Manlius Police Department, the night began when Benedicto and Ford walked from La Cena Restaurant to J.P. Mulligan's on East Genesee Street. Page showed up at the bar about an hour later and soon after, he and Benedicto got into a fight. Ford said Page was upset because Benedicto had been flirting with another guy.

Page and Ford went back to Ford's residence where Page indicated he would drive back to Toronto. While he was lying down on the lawn, Ford sat on top of him to keep him from leaving because he had been drinking.

Benedicto eventually showed up, angry with her friend for taking Page's side, Ford wrote. Benedicto drove off in Page's car, and Page and Ford went inside the apartment.

When Ford entered the kitchen, Page was by the kitchen table with a bottle marked Calcium. A white powdery substance was on the table near one of the capsules. Page then rolled a Canadian bill and both he and Ford used it to snort the white powder.

At that point, a police officer knocked on the door and both Page and Ford invited him in.
