CNS wrestlers stun B'ville, take first place

This came after the Northstars went to Fonda-Fultonville and earned 180.5 points for a third-place finish in that school's tournament on Jan. 19. Only Johnstown (238 points) and Schuylerville (195.5 points) fared better.

Hagger, the champion at 140 pounds, took Most Outstanding Wrestler honors. Dolson prevailed at 145 pounds, while Patrick Dyer earned the 119-pound title and Hovis claimed the championship at 160 pounds.

Sacco reached the 215-pound final, while French earned third place at 135 pounds and Pfeiffer finished fourth at 152 pounds.

CNS will try and follow up the win over Baldwinsville by hosting Fayetteville-Manlius on Wednesday night and a junior varsity tournament on Saturday at 9 a.m.
