Cazenovia Winter Festival

Thursday Feb. 7:

7-9 p.m. --- Artist Reception at St. Peter's Parish Hall for artists participating in the Winter Festival Art Exhibition. Community invited to attend.

7-9 p.m. --- Community Band Performance will be held in the Cazenovia High School Auditorium. Donations will be accepted to benefit Project Cafe.

Friday Feb. 8:

10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. --- Winter Festival Art Show presented at St. Peter's Parish Hall.

5-6 p.m. --- Civic Appreciation Award presented at the Lincklaen House, annual volunteer award ceremony and Reception sponsored by The Cazenovia Republican.

5-7 p.m. --- Winter Festival Supper - Beef stew, salad and bread (alternate dish -- macaroni and cheese) at St. Peter's Parish Hall - Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults- $7 Children- $4.

5:30-8:30 p.m. --- Delicious Desserts -- at Cazenovia United Methodist Church. Sponsored by the Cazenovia United Methodist Women.

7:30-9:30 p.m. --- Winter Festival Talent Show - Festival Opening Ceremony - Crowning of King and Queen - Logo Design and Coloring Contest awards presented all at the Cazenovia High School Auditorium - Organized by Project Cafe. Tickets $4 at the door. Proceeds to fund student scholarships.

Saturday Feb. 9:

Morning --- Scholastic snow sculpture construction at Memorial Park area, Albany Street - Judging at noon. Theme-Worldly Wonders.

All day --- Community Snow Sculpture Construction at Riverside Drive (behind library, near Scout lodge) - Families, community groups or businesses. Judging at 4 p.m. Theme-Worldly Wonders. Pre-Register at 687-3146.

7 a.m.-noon --- Pancake Breakfast at Masonic Hall- Sponsored by the Cazenovia Masonic Lodge.

9 a.m.-2 p.m. --- Leo Club Foul Shooting Contest at the Cazenovia High School Gymnasium - $3 per entry.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. --- Downhill Skiing at Cazenovia Ski Club - the Ski Club will be offering $10 passes. Visit skicaz.com or call 655-8368 for more information.
