Syracuse Police Identify the Officer Who Shot an Armed Suspect:

City of Syracuse Police Chief Gary Miguel has identified the officer involved in a line of duty shooting that took place on Monday Jan. 14. The Police Officer involved is identified as Arthur Williams, age, 35.

Officer Williams was hired by the Syracuse Police Department on Feb. 9, 2007. Officer Williams continues to be on paid administrative leave at this time. Officer Williams had not comment at this time.
