Suspect still sought in Burger King hold-up

The Onondaga County Sheriffs Department is continuing their search for a suspect who held up a Burger King restaurant, located at 3332 West Genesee St. in the town of Geddes.

Sheriffs say that just before 10 p.m. on Feb. 21 a white male, approximately 5'9' and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds, entered the business carrying a black and silver handgun. He was wearing a black ski mask, white hood and blue jeans.

The man ordered five employees and one customer into the cooler. He then took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe and cash register drawers before exiting out the back door.

The employees and customer were able to exit the cooler by using an inside safety latch. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information should contact the Sheriff's Department at 435-3082.
