Fred Bragan, superintendent of the Canastota Central School District said the district considers the health and safety of its students critically important, in a statement released today.
"We have carefully researched information regarding the suppliers of the beef we use in our cafeterias for our lunch program," Bragan said. "We have found no results from our current beef suppliers. This information has been verified with the USDA website. At this time there is no plan to pull any items off our school lunch menus."
