Triche still finished with 32 points, while Davis had 14 points, Hymes 10 points, Pascale and Stern nine points apiece, and Williams eight points. For UND, Moore was impressive, earning 26 points, while Pete Clark and Jerrell Hunter each had 12 points.
At least J-D got through. As it was beating the Jugglers, no. 2 seed Vernon-Verona-Sherrill and no. 3 seed Indian River both got knocked out, as did no. 4 seed Bishop Ludden.
Still, the Rams know a stern test awaiits in the Class A semifinals against no. 5 seed Fowler, who has won nine games in a row and went to Ludden to knock off the Gaelic Knights 50-49 in its quarterfinal appearance.
If the Rams can get past the Falcons, it will go to Manley Field House March 2 to face Whitesboro or New Hartford for the Class A championship.
