Each year Crouse Hospital documents the ways in which it promotes community health in a community service report. This is a document required by New York State Department of Health. However, it can be printed in any format. This year, the hospital decided to make the report as useful as possible by designing it as a 2009 calendar illustrated by students from the Syracuse City School District.
"While we like to think the information in the calendar is important and interesting, the artwork from the students really takes the spotlight," said Crouse Hospital CEO, Paul Kronenberg, MD. "We have a great partnership with the school district and are honored that the students and their teachers agreed to be part of this project."
Copies of the report/2009 wall calendar (folded size: 9 x 12 inches) are available free to the public by calling 470-7701.
