Christmas movie marathon among Hamilton holiday highlights

Friday Dec. 12 from 5 to 8 p.m., the Friends will be hosting their annual Open House. Join the Friends and staff members for some tasty goodies. Bid on the Friends Annual Silent Auction and see the Christmas tree!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, will meet again on Dec. 16 for "HO, HO, HO-Merry Christmas!" PLEASE NOTE: Due to scheduling, the program will start at 9:30 a.m. and run until 10:30 a.m. The library will be open at 9:30 a.m. for story hour participants only.

Join us on Friday Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m. as we talk about Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Learn about these holidays and make some fun crafts and play some games.

We are having a Christmas Movie Marathon on Monday Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. We will be showing three television classics that are sure to delight the whole family! Bring something comfy to sit in and a healthy snack and join in the fun.

The Friends Annual Silent Auction is almost over. Be sure to stop in during library hours and make your bid on some of the wonderful items. Do some of your Christmas shopping with us. Bidding ends Friday Dec. 12 at 8 p.m.

We are collecting new and unwrapped toys for the foster children of Madison County. Please buy a toy or two, hygiene products like toothbrushes or hairbrushes, mittens, hats etc. for these children to receive on Christmas. The complete list of items is posted at the circulation desk. We will be collecting until this Saturday Dec. 13 at 4 p.m.

Please note: The library closes early on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m. The Library will also be closed for the winter holidays beginning Thursday Dec. 25 through Thursday Jan. 1. We will reopen Friday Jan. 2 at noon.

Lots of great books have arrived at just the right time! Grab one or two to take home and read when you need some holiday down time! We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
