The Fayetteville-Manlius Board of Education was petitioned by more than 1,000 individuals to consider bringing back a referendum for a turf field at the high school.
"We had a referendum in 2004 and it was defeated," said Superintendent Dr. Corliss Kaiser. "We've now been asked by a group of community members to consider it again."
School administrators will provide a comprehensive presentation to the board at a special meeting scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 4 in the F-M high school cafeteria. The meeting is open to the public.
