East Syracuse: ES-M students voice ideas for district's future

The district hired professional consultants to aid in the planning process, estimated to take up to nine months.

"She's with us today," DeSiato said, referring to Theresa Arpin of Transformation Systems, one of the advisors. "She does this all around the world. She's with us today."

Transformation Systems is a national consulting firm that specializes in bringing about change to the workplace.

Arpin also led the evening adult session later the same day at Sensis Corp in East Syracuse. More than 100 adults throughout the ES-M community attended the event, including parents, staff members, community members, and business and government leaders.

"This is just the very beginning as one of the involvement and engagement activities," DeSiato said. "There will be many, many opportunities for our community to be involved," she said. "We'll keep our community involved throughout the process."
