DeWitt Town Board rejects budget

An additional hearing was also requested for Monday Dec. 10 to address any concerns that might be raised during the initial public hearing. Planning Board Commissioner Dick Robb said it was a good idea for the board to hold an another meeting so they could digest the information given during the forum. The public can comment at this second meeting as well.

The DeWitt Planning Board will also be holding an informational hearing on the matter at 7:30 p.m. Thursday Nov. 15 at DeWitt Town Hall.

Water and lights

A public hearing was held on the new Woodbine development and installing 2,200 square feet of water main pipes. The estimated cost of the project was projected at $17,000. These new pipes would provide water to the new homes being built in the northern part of the town.

The board also heard the petition to install streetlights on Radcliffe Road. Councilors decided to hear the matter at their next regular session. The board will next meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday Nov. 26 at DeWitt Town Hall, 5400 Butternut Drive.
