This year's show will involve three bands: "Word as a Virus," "Backstabbers Inc." and "Ed Gein." While the bands play there will be digital video presentations to the films "Frankenhooker," and "Aftermath," sponsored by unearthed films. These will be screened without sound and used as background ambiance.
Starting at 7 p.m. the movies begin. There will be screenings of five very rare 35mm films including Lucio Fulci's grindhouse classic "Zombie," Takashi Miike's "Ichi the Killer," Dario Argento's "Demons," Bruno Matei's "Night of the Zombies" and Tartan Extremes own "Oldboy."
For sale during the event will be limited edition Shaun Luu in memory posters, DVDs of horror films, band merchandise and other limtied edition items. Tickets are $10 per person for the bands; $10 for the movies or $15 for the whole event. All ages are welcome for the bands. Must be 16 years of age or older for the films. All proceeds will go towards the local American Cancer Society.
