Village of Camillus - Roads around Green Gate to reopen

Hot on the heels of the planning board's recommendations, the village of Camillus board passed three resolutions at its Jan. 9 meeting regarding the roads around the soon-to-be-reopened Green Gate Inn.

The board passed three resolutions that call for the creation of two-way lanes on the northern and western boundaries around the business, which is most recently operator under the name the Victor Inn.

Another piece of legislation asks for the owners, Natalia and Phillip Meyer, to assess the intersection that would be created from the restaurant's westbound exit that runs into Genessee Street.

The French Kissed Restaurant and Creperie will have an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 14, and will open its doors for business

In other news:

The board authorized the mayor to sign the 2008 community development application proposal. The application was in development last year, and is now ready to be implemented, the mayor said.
