School brings holiday cheer to St. Camillus

On Dec. 14, residents at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center welcomed fifth and sixth grade chorus members from Wheeler Elementary School in Nedrow, as they performed a ballad of holiday favorites. St. Camillus' Director of Recreation Services, Mary Ellen Steele, along with Annette Havens, Recreation Therapist, organized the event. These talented children, directed by vocal music teacher John Miller, sang to a very captive audience.

Their holiday concert consisted of many old time favorites such as Winter Wonderland, Deck the Halls, and White Christmas as well as some new songs like Shop 'til You Drop. The children encouraged residents to sing-a-long during the show and afterwards mingled with residents, wishing each a very happy holiday.
