Trhee charged in Skan burglary ring

Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin E. Walsh reports that detectives have charged three Elbridge men in connection with a string of Skaneateles burglaries.

On Dec. 20, detectives assigned to the Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Division charged Peter Gormley, 19, of Brown Street, Scott Mills, 17, of West Main Street and Alexander Santiago, 18, of Mill Street with multiple counts in connection with a string of residential burglaries.

Peter Gormley was charged with four counts of burglary in the 2nd degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 4th degree and two counts of petit larceny in connection with four separate residential burglaries that occurred on Nov. 18, 2007.

Gormley was also charged with two counts of burglary in the 2nd degree, one count of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, one count of criminal mischief in the 4th degree and one count of petit larceny in connection with a burglaries reported on November 20th and November 30th.

Gormley was arraigned and is currently being held at the Justice Center with bail set in the amount of $80,000 cash or bond.

Scott Mills was charged with four counts of burglary in the 2nd degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 4th degree and two counts of petit larceny in connection with four separate residential burglaries that occurred on Nov. 18.

Mills was also charged with five counts of burglary in the 2nd degree, one count of grand larceny in the 3rd degree, two counts of grand larceny in the 4th degree, one count of criminal mischief, three counts of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, and one count of petit larceny in connection with burglaries reported on Nov. 4, Nov. 21, Nov. 28, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.
