Police close Skaneateles drowning case

The case of Patrick Kendrick, 55, found floating in Skaneateles' Clift Park, is officially closed. The autopsy was conducted and the cause of death was determined to be drowning.

"The evidence appears that Kendrick most likely committed suicide, however it is also a possibility that it was an accident. Either way, the case has been closed since there is no signs of foul play," said Sergeant John D'Eredita of the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office.
