Making money with music

Our first requirement is that the organization is based in Baldwinsville (and neighboring communities). We want the organization to be a charitable one, youth oriented group or a seniors group. We want to do something for the people who frequent this restaurant.

What Baldwinsville organizations have participated?

Since we started this program, we have had many organizations benefit from the proceeds including the Baldwinsville crew team, the (Baldwinsville) marching band, Pop Warner, Jordan Elbridge band, Baldwinsville wrestling, Meals on Wheels, Canton Wood Senior Center, Baldwinsville Little League, Baldwinsville Public Access TV, Elden Elementary Playground Fund, Christmas Bureau, Cato Little League, Baldwinville Community Scholarship (yearly), Baldwinsville Lions Club, food pantry and many others.

Who should organizations contact if they are interested in participating in the program?

Organizations interested in participating should just pick up an application at the Baldwinsville restaurant and send it to me at the address listed on the bottom of the application.

Who collects the money?

At the end of each month the coins in the jukeboxes are collected and a check is sent to the organization.

Why get more organizations to participate?

We want to help the organizations that request the proceeds, and we get requests from the same groups over and over again. We feel that there are many deserving organizations that might not be aware that this opportunity is there for them.

McDonald's is part of this community and each and every day we have customers who are loyal to us who come back again and again. Over the years, our customers have not only made us feel welcome but supported us. They contribute to the Ronald McDonald House and World Children's Day and if it is possible for us to help our community, which is what we want to do.
