Camillus Cares-Collecting items for troops!

Camillus Cares

The Greater Camillus Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a program called Camillus Cares to show support for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan this Christmas.

Last year the Chamber shipped more than 100 boxes to five platoons.

The Chamber is asking for is asking for people to drop off a variety of different items including, sunscreen, paperback novels, Q-tips, pipe cleaners, soap, green and black socks, word games, sardines, disposable cameras, phones, shampoo, pens, lip balm, nuts, sunflower seeds, tissues, aspirin, baby wipes, etc.

Drop off boxes are located at Hair Studio 5, Camillus Kayak Shop, Kings Gate West, High Acres and Town Hall. The final day to drop items off is Dec. 14. For more information, call Kathy Kitt at 468-4741.
