There will be two community forums held at the high school auditorium, where a slide show will highlight details of the project. The first meeting will be at 9 a.m. Saturday July 22 and the second will be at 7 p.m. Monday July 31. A representative from the Thomas Group will be on hand. All are welcome to raise questions and discuss issues. A public vote will take place around October or November.
These facilities are used by the community as well as the students, said Cazenovia School Superintendent Bob Dubik.
Similar multi-use fields were installed in Chittenango, Solvay, Homer and Marcellus with great success. The intent is clearly, according to Dubik, to enhance the facilities to accommodate a multitude of sports and activities for both genders, which is a great addition to not only the school but the community as well.
