Water is necessary for people and businesses to thrive. The town of Elbridge along with Congressman Jim Walsh worked together to ensure that water could be accessed by private residences and by a district designatied for business in the town of Elbridge more easily.
On Aug. 3 a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Byrne Dairy at 175 State Rt 5 to unveil the new West Elbridge Water District.
Before the pipeline was installed, the Byrne Dairy where the ceremony was held was on a well system.
The projected aided in supplying water to 44 residences and 9 businesses in Elbridge.
Town Supervisor Ken Bush, County Executive Nick Pirro and state Assemblyman Will Barclay were on hand for the opening.
The project will aid in promoting business growth in the Elbridge area.
