You will enjoy music of all genres. From classical transcriptions of Vivaldi, Holst, and Grainger to jazz selections like Chicago and Sextet for Clarinets by Hyman; classical marches and pieces written specifically for the clarinet choir by Cardon, Whitlock, Rondel, Brittain, and Picqueur.
The Silverwood Clarinet Choir is an exciting professional clarinet group that encompasses all the voices of a true choir – from the high soprano clarinet to the very low contrabass clarinet. The clarinetists perform music that is both entertaining and challenging – music in all styles and from around the world.
The 15 member choir is conducted by Pamela Mastrobattisto (East Syracuse). Members include Holly Bossert (Baldwinsville), Melanie Bulawa (Dewitt), Doug DiGennaro (percussion from Chittenango), Paul DiPastena (North Syracuse), Kathleen Freer (Manlius), Kenneth Freer (Manlius), Terryann Gerber (Brewerton), Anthony Greene (Fayetteville), Liza Grethel (Pennellville), Blair Lazarus (Syracuse), Wally Merriam (Fayetteville), Gen Pandori (Syracuse), Linda Spinella (Liverpool), and Terri Tallman (Chittenango).
