Jews around the world will soon remember millions who lost their lives in the annual commemoration known as Yom HaShoah or Holocaust Remembrance Day. This year, however, the entire Central New York community is invited to remember by attending a music program in the Crouse Hinds Theater, Onondaga County Civic Center, on Sunday, April 7, 2:30 pm.

Symphoria and the Syracuse University Oratorio Society will perform Kaddish: I Am Here - Music of Remembrance and Hope, written and composed by composer, theater artist, scholar and performer Lawrence Siegel.

Dr. Alan Goldberg, professor emeritus at Syracuse University is the event coordinator.

Syracuse University’s Regional Holocaust and Genocide Initiative, the Jewish Federation of CNY, and InterFaith Works of CNY are sponsoring the event.
